    If lash extensions are not for you or simply want to take a break, choose a lash lift, an alternative to lash extensions. This procedure allows your natural lashes to be lifted and beautiful care upwards, creating an “open eye” look! Lash lift lasts anywhere from 6-8 weeks. Also please arrive without eye makeup. If you do have eye makeup, please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment and we would be happy to help you remove it at no additional cost.

    Brow lamination is basically a perm for your brows, as it gives them a set, uniform shape for an extended period of time. Instead of curls, a setting lotion helps brow hair stay brushed up and lifted upward for about six weeks. Brow lamination works in a similar way to a lash lift, and is designed to open up your eyes. The process essentially involves straightening eyebrow hairs using a chemical solution, so that they all stand in the desired direction.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancelling/Changing more than 6 hours in advance:

Life happens so we have made it super easy to cancel or change your Lashes & Brows appointment – please feel free to do so! Cancellation/changes more than 6 hours before your appointment start time are completely free.

I’M RUNNING LATE

Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled Lashes & Brows treatment time so that you can check in. If you are running late, please let us know either by email at [email protected] or by telephone at (604) 818-0055.

Cancellation/Changes Within 6 Hours / No Shows:

Cancellation / Changes within 6 hours and no-shows will result in a charge equal to the cost of the Lashes & Brows treatment(s) you have booked.

Any groups of 3 or more people will require 48 hour cancellation notice. Thank you for understanding.

What is eyebrow tinting?

Eyebrow tinting is the process of using semi-permanent color to strengthen, shape, and define eyebrows.

 

How long does eyebrow tint last?

Eyebrow painting lasts between three to eight weeks. The type of paint you use affects the duration of your tinting.

 

Is eyebrow tinting harmful?

Eyebrow tinting is an entirely non-invasive process that does not cause any damage to the skin. Because eyebrow color does not contain bleach, it is very gentle on the hair and follicles.

 

Is it okay to wash your face after tinting your eyebrows?

You can wash your face and shower after painting. Avoid using strong facial cleansers or applying oil-containing products on your eyebrows, which will lighten the color faster.

 
 

What can you not do after tinting your eyebrows?

Care after eyebrow painting:

  • Do not touch or rub the eyes after applying the paint.
  • No swimming or sauna in the next 24 hours.
  • If you use an oil-based makeup remover, the color may fade faster.
  • The color may fade faster if exposed to sunlight or ultraviolet light.
  • Do not use any eye makeup for the next 12 hours.

Is eyelash tint harmful?

Eyelash tinting can damage and dry out your eyelashes. This is because any color or dye on your lashes or hair removes their natural moisture and makes them dry and brittle. The more colorful your lashes, the drier and more brittle they become.

 

What exactly is eyebrow laminate?

Eyebrow laminating is a new process that focuses on making shiny and smooth eyebrows. High brightness effects, also called “eyebrow perm,” are popular among thin or messy eyebrows people. Unlike microblading, needles and paint are not used.

 

Are laminating eyebrows painful?

If you have postponed microblading due to pain, eyebrow laminate is a great alternative. If done by an authorized specialist, you should not be irritated or feel pain during the operation.

 

Can I brush my eyebrows after laminating?

No, avoid brushing or stroking your eyebrows for the first 24 hours, but you can brush after that. In fact, it is encouraged to do so.

 

Excessive processing of eyebrow laminating can lead to breakage, thinning, and damage to the hair. Frequent changes in the direction of your hair may cause hair breakage and damage to the hair follicles.
