Gel Manicures & Pedicures

Gel nail polish is a hybrid polish and gel combination. It applies like regular nail polish but is cured under an LED lamp within seconds. It offers a light-gloss shine with zero dry time and lasts for 2-4 weeks with no chips or smudges! We have 500+ premium gel polish colours to choose from! BIO SCULPTURE GEL

This gel has a five-star safety rating. It is a healthier alternative to acrylic or UV gel nails and enhances the natural nail with little damage to the nail plate. Bio Sculpture gel has a thicker consistency and can be used for overlays. It is a lot stronger than gel polish. It lasts 2-4 weeks depending on nail growth and how you take care of them. The gel soaks off in 10-15 minutes.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancelling/Changing more than 6 hours in advance:

Life happens so we have made it super easy to cancel or change your appointment – please feel free to do so! Cancellation / changes more than 6 hours before your appointment start time are completely free.

I’M RUNNING LATE

Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled treatment time so that you can check-in. If you are running late, please let us know either by email at info@aribeauty.ca or by telephone on (604) 818-0055.

Cancellation/Changes Within 6 Hours / No Shows:

Cancellation / Changes within 6 hours will result in a 50% fee of the treatment (s) you have booked in for.

No show will result in 100% fee of the treatment (s) you have booked in for.

Any groups of 3 or more people will require 48 hour cancellation notice. Thank you for understanding.

We run a tight ship and to ensure we provide a high quality service to all clients, arrivals more than 10 minutes after the scheduled booking time may result in the appointment being cancelled and a charge equal to the cost of your treatment(s) being applied.

Manicure means customer hand care, and pedicure means customer foot care. Both include skincare, nail care and artificial nail enhancers that can be adjusted to suit different preferences.

No, you don’t have to match them. However, there is nothing wrong with matching your manicure and pedicure. This can be done using the same shades of nail polish on your fingers and toes.

Do not shave your legs for at least two days before getting a pedicure. Avoid cutting the cuticle and cutting the cuticles and shaving the legs before a pedicure can increase the risk of infection.

It is recommended to do a pedicure every two weeks. The infection quickly accumulates in the toes, making it a breeding ground for bacteria and fungi.

 

Ingrowth toes are a painful condition that affects the toes. If you have developed ingrowth toenails, it is better to avoid pedicures because the risk of infection is high. However, the ingrowth of nails can be avoided by getting a pedicure regularly.

If you prefer a simple and elegant nail design, you should have a French manicure. American manicure is ideal for those women who like lighter shades. Before choosing a manicure, talk to your nail technician or review different nail design images.

Reverse French means lighter shades in the moon of your nails and darker shades in other areas of your nails. The dyes used in the reverse French manicure depend on the season. Darker shades for winter and lighter shades for summer.

 

A liquid nail polish gel that is applied to natural nails and treated under ultraviolet light. Gel nail polish has better durability than other nail polishes.

 

Nail extensions include adding an artificial tip to your nail tip to increase the length. The attachment is then strengthened by covering it in gel, acrylic or fiberglass.

Acrylic nails are adjusted using a combination of a liquid monomer and a powder polymer to create a hard layer on natural nails. Gel nails are adjusted using ultraviolet UV light and closely mimic natural nails. Acrylics are more durable.

 

A clear or tinted hard gel is applied to your natural nails to give them more strength. An overlay can be refilled precisely like a nail extension.

Yes, gel manicures are a bit more expensive than regular manicures.

It is suggested to remove the gel manicure no later than two to three weeks to prevent damage to the nail bed and cuticle.

Gel nail polish is best cleaned in your salon. Do not scratch your nail gel to remove the manicure, as this can damage your nail bed. However, you can clean a gel nail polish at home using a gel remover or acetone with extra care.
